TECU System Shingles
Classic shingles system is based on simple copper plate coupling. This roof and façade covering method requires special skills. TECU copper plates comply with DIN 4102 fire safety requirements therefore it can be used for facades and roofs as well as roof windows or parapets.
Installation types: to the wood by means of copper or stainless steel clamps, or to special omega profiles. Shingle covering may have the traditional vertical direction, or it may be unusually horizontal, diagonal, or a combination of those.
Dimensions: Sheet thickness: 0.6/0.7/1.0/1.5/2.0 mm. Sheet size: 1,000x2,000, 1,000x3,000, 1,250x2,500 mm.
Shingles and diamond-shape technology are the systems for combining various copper plate forms; the systems are characterised by their special aesthetics and cost-effectiveness; cladding a surface with copper is quick and simply – one element is simply attached to another. The cladding method is suitable for facades, façade elements or roofs (a minimum roof gradient of 25° is required).
Installation: shingles may be installed in several ways: vertically, horizontally and diagonally. TECU system shingles are installed by coupling them one to the other; this facilitates connection with other components, such as windows, doors.
Size: rectangle 430 x 600mm; square 600 x 600mm
TECU Cassettes are copper façade elements with edges on four sides. They are custom-made according to the needs of the design or private orders. The edges on all the sides make it possible to clad the façade in large copper sheets that stay straight all the time. Wood, metal or mineral fillers provide hardness and firmness to large-size cassettes.
Installation: TECU cassettes are attached directly to the surface my means of rivets, bolts, angular brackets or hook bolts. The covering has a very firm construction therefore it is available in extra-large dimensions with different interconnections, and is attached to the surface.
Dimensions: TECU cassette proportions range from the ratio of 1:1 to the ratio of 1:4
